ROME, OCTOBER 19 – Green Fashion Week will hold its sixth edition from 6th to 9th November 2017 in Rome, in luxurious locations surrounded by spectacular roman remains. Sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Environment in collaboration with UNFCCC, the tree-day event aims to raise public awareness on the issues of sustainability: how to reconcile sustainability with the fashion industry, ethics and responsibility with beauty, luxury and comfort with style and elegance. Previous events were held in Los Angeles, Milan, Abu Dhabi e Dubai .
A round-table moderated by Massimiliano Falcone from the World Bank initiative Connect4Climate will put the spotlight on sustainable fashion and issues related to the innovation in the clothing and textile sector. The event, organized on November 6th in collaboration with the Italian Minister of the Environment will kick off the event in the Temple of Hadrian. Among the panelist, Marinella Loddo from Ice Milano, Marco Ricchetti (Politecnico di Milano), Filippo Servalli (Radici Group).
The Rome Green Fashion will end with spectacular runways among some of the most famous locations of the city: from the Colosseum to the Pantheon, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Navona. (@OnuItalia)
