Last call for Youth Forum Contest 2021, green and sustainable solutions for the future

ROME, 25 MAY – The deadline to apply to the third edition of the ‘Youth Forum Contest – Green and sustainable solutions for the future’ is fast approaching (deadline 31/st may) and the promotors launch the last call for it.

This annual initiative is promoted by ISPI and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and implemented in cooperation with the Representation of Italy to the European Commission, ASSOCAMERESTERO, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

This year’s Youth Forum Contest is taking on a new and improved format and scope, one that aims to make the contest a real opportunity for contestants to grow alongside the development of their ideas. The future of the region’s youth is certainly one that is green, sustainable, and inclusive. As such, starting this year, the Youth Forum Contest will follow in the footsteps of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and its holistic approach to achieving sustainable development for all through the implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year’s projects will focus on these three SGDs: 6- Clean water and sanitation, 7 – Affordable and clean energy, 12 – Responsible consumption and production.

Contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 35, must come from North Africa or the Middle East (those from European countries can apply only if in partnership with those from the MENA), and must possess an excellent command of English (the conference’s working language will be English).  More information and visit the MED 2021 Youth Forum Contest official page.
